Truthseekers: Welcome to Blackriver

Moving to a small town from the big city is a challenge that can be hard enough for anyone. It's even harder for a teenage girl, leaving behind her friends, her school, her mall, her social life. After her parents are brutally murdered and fifteen-year-old Ashley Bennett is sent to the small town of Blackriver, Ontario to live with her only relative, her cousin Mark - a teacher at her new school! - she thinks her life can't possibly get any worse. But Ashley has no idea that the real challenges have only just begun. Not only is she faced with the normal teen experiences of making new friends, going to a new school, and adjusting to her new life, she's about to discover a whole hidden world that is both dark and strange. She's about to discover that her parents' deaths were anything but random, and that she herself might be in danger. Ancient conspiracies ... secret societies ... ghosts ... vampires ... cattle mutilations and cults ... witches ... mysterious disappearances... this eerily normal-seeming little town has it all, and Ashley ends up smack in the middle of it whether she wants to be or not. Now, to protect herself and her friends, Ashley must seek the truth... the truth behind the TRUTHSEEKERS.

TRUTHSEEKERS 2: BIRTHRIGHT continues the adventures of Ashley Bennett and her friends in the odd little town of Blackriver, Ontario. Picking up where TRUTHSEEKERS: WELCOME TO BLACKRIVER left off, Ashley encounters the harsh and possibly mystical forces of winter in a rural town, discovers love and magic and mysteries aplenty, and continues to investigate her parents' brutal murders. Vampires, werewolves, fairies, magic, maybe even UFOs - and a Battle of the Bands! Ashley and her friends have their hands full this time... but they're more than equipped enough for the task!

Creepy Kitch said "while the book will appeal to the younger set, he never ever dumbs down the threats and scares... a lot of suspense and some great creativity."

Truthseekers 3: Level Up

"You were right to fear the dark... You beat it back with Edison's little invention but all the reasons to fear the dark didn't go away..."

Mysteries abound in the little town of Blackriver, Ontario, and there doesn't seem to be anything sixteen year-old Ashley Bennett and her friends can't handle. Bigfoot? No problem. Aliens? Pssh. Vampires? Bring it. Werewolves, bah. But new dangers arise. Creatures both fair and foul challenge them at every turn. From unexpected places come unexpected allies. Old dangers bring new twists, threatening their families and their lives. Will they be able to save their town and themselves, or will their own growing powers prove to be their undoing?
